I’ve mostly acquired skills through my education and work experience. I’m definitely proud of the skills I’ve gained across the years, and lucky to have had the support to become the very best I can be in my field. REVIT
An Expert
This skill set provides the opportunity to create three dimensional drawings of both residential and commercial buildings. This entails dimensions of structural elements such as windows and walls as well as interior elements such as furniture and lighting. I am also confident in creating items as a single model and being able to place it into the residential or commercial building. I have had experience with using this program for projects and am excited for the future of Revit and what it can be used for in Design.
PHOTOSHOP
You Could Call Me A Pro
Photoshop involves creating an image through the use of editing. I am confident in this area and enjoy using some hand drawn elements to provide an image that feels more unique. I believe Photoshop is a skill one needs to be able to use confidently in the design industry. The options of Photoshop and the style of image needing to be edited is endless.
INDESIGN
A Valuable Skill
Yet another Adobe program, this however, is used for layout and to create flow within presentations. This program is important for presenting projects and this is why I have used this program in many of my projects. I am comfortable with placing images and text and changing the typography to what suits the document. InDesign is all about flow and how the document makes the client feel, and that is the focus of each project.
AUTOCAD
A Valuable Skill
AutoCAD is a technical drawing program which I have a number of years experience in. I have designed a number of projects in this program and am able to create two dimensional technical drawing in AutoCAD. This includes setting up pages to print and title blocks.
SKETCHUP
An Expert
Sketchup is a three dimensional program which entails a graphic model of the specific project. This isn't a software program I am incredibly confident in due to the use of other programs, however, I am a fast learner and am willing to give my very best to gain my confidence in this program as well.
