This is me as a designer. I take inspiration from the world that surrounds us; The colours, the textures, the patterns, the shapes/forms and the experience. We live in this world that changes and evolves every minute or every second of the day, the week, the month, the year. We live as part of this world and to experience it we have to live in it.

PERSONAL PROFILE

I’m a graduate of the Associate Degree of Interior Decoration and Design based in Melbourne, Australia. My work is focused on producing quality and making a significant impact. I apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained through industry experiences in order to manage projects through creative problem solving and innovative thinking. I possess a strong eye for detail and want to help you will your interiors.

ABOUT BEC BROWN

My name is Rebecca Brown. I am 23 years old and have been in the design industry for 3 years. During the completion of studying the Associate Degree of Interior Decoration and Design at RMIT, I have developed skills in software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe Programs (Photoshop, InDesign).

I have had the opportunity to have work experience in a large interior design and architecture firm, The Buchan Group, and have industry contacts with them as well as Design inc and other designers, architects and merchandisers. I have worked with landscape designers from Package Landscapes in designing new outdoor play experiences for children in kindergartens and childcare centres. I have also had merchandising experience through my past job with Pandora and Bed Bath n Table.

Current work experiences at Burbank Homes as an Interior Designer has also enabled me to help clients with their interior spaces and my passion for styling and design has allowed me to create their stylistic spaces. I mainly focus on residential styling, building/constuction, and renovations however are open to commercial spaces and have had experience in designing both.
